I’m in my 50’s, married, two children, 3 grandchildren and live in Orange, California. I was born in Lynwood, California, grew up in East Los Angeles, California and moved to Orange, California in 1978.

I’m married to my soul mate. Her third marriage, my 2nd. Her name is Jean and she is my life.

Besides operating my mortgage origination business, I teach golf. In 1974 when I was an assistant manager with Aetna Finance I decided to pursue two careers, one being finance and the other being golf. I played on the professional mini tour in the late 1970’s. I studied with my grandfather (JOE NORWOOD) from 1974 to 1989. I learned his golf swing, perfected it and teach it on a semi regular schedule.

My full time occupation is mortgage origination and funding.

I like camping, going to concerts, walking and just about everything I do personally I do with my wife. She is my best friend and lover.

My Christian faith comes 1st, my family comes 2nd, my mortgage business 3rd and everything else is a distant 4th. I have dozens of close acquaintances and love many of them but I adhere to the belief that friendship must stand the test of time and I judge time in decades not years.

I may pay the bills in our house but we both must agree with respect as to how the finances are handled in our home. We know we must be on the same page when it comes to spending money.

I use a detailed budget so I can, at a moments notice, immediately determine our financial situation. I know how much money our household is going to spend before the month happens. It’s difficult to have a budget because it demands you look at all your finances. It is very rewarding when you see your net assets growing because of savings.

                                                         Business

I started working in the Finance business in 1972. I was young and inexperienced but smart. After many interviews with companies set up by an employment agency, I finally got a job. The employment agency wanted $500. I decided to look for myself and never got past AE in the yellow pages as Aetna Finance hired me.

It was easy to get that job as I had already been hired by Household Finance. When a prospective   employer knows someone else wants you, they offer more. That’s what Aetna did and I went to work in November, 1972. I worked for Aetna Finance until 1977 when I made the decision to broker real estate loans.

I started originating third party real estate loans in 1977. I opened my company in 1979. I’ve originated and funded real estate loans since.

I take personal care of my prospective and actual clients.

I assist clients with credit repair and household budgeting. These two things walk hand in hand. Living month to month and not knowing where you’re going (financially) is a nightmare waiting to happen.

My experience in originating and funding real estate loans speaks for itself. One cannot survive this long without knowledge, perseverance, ability to make a decision and the common sense needed to advise a prospective client.

       Mission

My mission is to provide clients with a realistic appraisal of their financial situation and to provide alternatives for them to review. As an independent agent I work for my clients. It’s my honor to insure they get the best information and in many cases assist them with their decision.
