Welcome to this web site dedicated to explain in further detail the golf swing conceived by Joe Norwood.

I started studying with my grandfather in 1973 although it can be said he had been teaching part of his swing to me since I was a little boy. He used to put a golf ball in my right hand and have me hold it between my thumb and index finger. It seemed like a large soccer ball at the time but he was instilling into me at a very early age the essence of the thumb and forefinger and how it is used with his swing.

I have devoted myself to my grandfathers swing and hope to further assist you in training yourself how to perform every aspect of his swing. This page and the subsequent links will go into deeper detail about the Norwood Golf swing so as to help those of you achieve and enjoy Joe's Swing.
